Beauties of the Ala Wai Canal!

Nothing beats an evening stroll down the Ala Wai Canal — I’ll say that again!

The view of the mountain range just ahead, with the cool breeze hitting your face is a recipe for a calming sensation.

During my stay at the Royal Kuhio Hotel, coming down here for a jog, stroll, or lunch was just a few short minutes away.

When summer hits you could spot canoers canoeing down the canal for casual or sport events.

There are benches placed along the entire walkway for your convenience.

If you feel like checking out the aquatic life, a glimpse at the canal will suffice.

And depending on where you’re at, a view at the golf course and even the Ala Wai Community park to catch sport events is all here.

Just a few weeks ago I grabbed lunch from Surf N’ Tacos and found myself enjoying it on a bench underneath a Plumeria tree.
